Deck Radar is an independent, non-commercial historical record. It observes the public Marketplace surface repeatedly and reports only what it can support.
Rankings, versions, prices, and listing status come from repeated public observations.
Every comparison has a tolerance. If history is missing, movement says so.
No downloads, revenue, installs, or inferred user counts. Ever.
Every six hours, Deck Radar requests the free, paid, and recently published top 100. Positions are stored with a run id and observation timestamp.
A daily pass refreshes listing metadata. Version and publish-date details are backfilled incrementally with rate limits and retries.
First detected is when Deck Radar first saw a plugin, version, rank, or listing state. It is not the original Marketplace release time.
Marketplace publish is the date supplied by Marketplace detail data. It can be missing, and old versions may be republished without a wholly new listing date.
Rank movement compares the latest observation with the nearest stored observation inside the selected period. A 24-hour comparison tolerates ±12 hours; longer periods tolerate ±24 hours. Outside that window, movement is unknown.
Baseline silence. The first catalog and ranking pass establishes the dataset. It does not generate a launch-day wall of “new plugin” events.
The public Marketplace gateway used for observations is undocumented. Elgato’s terms may restrict automated access. Deck Radar is intended as a non-commercial public archive and research project; operators should confirm that collection is permitted and respond promptly to access or removal requests. Deck Radar is not affiliated with or endorsed by Elgato.
